I am a Danish visual artist based in Oslo, Norway.

I graduated as a photojournalist from the Danish School of Media and Journalism in 2013. Since then I have worked with photography as an artist, a freelance photographer, a teacher and a photo editor. I have held various positions at the Danish Folk Highschool as an educator of conceptual art photography and documentary photography, e.g. Krabbesholm Højskole and Grundtvigs Højskole and held courses in photography at Kunsthøjskolen Ærø and VIA University among others. From September 2018 to November 2019 I work as photo editor at Morgenbladet, Oslo.

My own photographic practice fall within the category of both art and documentary. I work with sound installations, objects and photography. Thematically, my long-term projects revolve around love and migration.

I have been awarded at The Danish Press Photo of the Year contest several times and in 2017 I was selected a member of the jury.

I have exhibited my work in renowned institutions as well as in more experimental formats; in museums, art centres and at various photo festivals in Denmark and abroad. I have participated in projects at The Museum of Contemporary Art in Roskilde, had my works presented at Kunstnernes Efterårsudstilling, Forårsudstillingen at Charlottenborg, and in Øksnehallen, Copenhagen. I have also been included in the series of exhibitions, ”Young Danish Photography”, at the art gallery Fotografisk Center in 2013 and in the fall of 2017 I held my first major solo exhibition at the art gallery Fotografisk Center with the project The Calling - Sites for Myths.
